How does the Debt Elimination Program work?
Upon review of your information, we will design a savings plan that will help you to save sufficient funds to settle with your creditors and provide you with an analysis of your current situation. Once enough funds are saved, our experienced staff will begin the process of negotiation with your creditors. We will request that your creditors contact us, instead of you. We will also make you aware of your rights under the F.D.C.P.A. (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act). Once a settlement has been reached, you are able to pay off your creditors, and that debt is then gone forever.
Who qualifies for the Debt Elimination Program?
Anyone who has at least $5,000 in unsecured debt and is looking for relief is eligible for our program.
Which of my debts can be included in the program?
DebtRX can help you with any unsecured debt. An unsecured debt is a debt that does not have property or any other sort of physical item attached to the loan. The most common types are credit cards, personal loans, and hospital bills.
How will this associate with my credit score?
DebtRX does not report to the credit bureaus, but like any debt management program, The Debt Elimination Program will have a short-term adverse effect on your credit, which may affect your ability to apply for new credit while your account is being settled. However, zero balances have a much more positive effect on credit scores than unpaid debts. Once you have completely paid your settlements, you are free to rebuild a solid credit program without the burden and stress of outstanding debts.
Can I continue to use my credit cards?
The strategy of this program is to completely eliminate your debt, and in order to do that, any credit card included in the program must be closed. You may want to keep one credit card with a low credit limit for emergencies. If you choose to do this, the account should be with a different company than any of your other accounts on the program.
How long does the program take to complete?
DebtRX’s average client can be debt free in 12-48 months. However, we recognize that every situation is different, and we will tailor the program to fit your individual needs. The length of the program varies from case to case and will depend primarily on your present financial situation. It will be determined by the payment that you can afford and the funds you have available to settle your debt.
What are your fees for this program?
Each client’s fees will be based on the individual situation. Your specific financial situation will determine what your fee structure will be. All fees will be disclosed upfront when you speak with one of our representatives.
What happens if I want to pay more/less than my monthly payment?
Paying more than your monthly payments will allow you to complete the program and become debt free in less time, so we encourage you to use extra funds from tax returns, holiday bonuses, etc. There are no penalties for early payoff! If you want to pay less than your monthly payment, our program allows you to do so. However, remember that this reduction will add to the length of the program and may jeopardize any settlements that have already been negotiated on your behalf.
Can I settle my debts on my own?
Anyone owing a debt has the legal right to contact and negotiate with the creditors. However, negotiations tend to be difficult and stressful for most people because it requires experience dealing with creditors and knowledge of certain skills in order to get the maximum benefits. DebtRX has years of experience in the consumer credit industry and has settled millions of dollars of unsecured debt for clients. We use that experience to help you eliminate your debts and regain financial freedom. We can relieve the stress being in debt and trying to deal with creditors brings.
